our program mascot, a dog, died yesterday. it was cause for both sadness and thankfulness. you see, he was killed by a terciopelo (extremely dangerous and aggressive snake) while he was standing alongside one of our guys who was working. though he died by the snake bite, he took the bite the snake would have given to adrian had the dog not been there.
