trip to cocal

we were on our way to cocal, an island which is about a 1-3 minute ferry ride across the pacific ocean, when the boat motor wouldnt start.  on top of that, the current was coming in strong, which was pushing our boat under a bridge and into an area that would be very difficult to get out of.  fortunately, another boat came to our rescue.  it was a pretty funny situation...but kind of scary as well.  i had never been in this situation before, and in costa rica, who knows what they  mightve had us do.  im thankful some friends were with us, vanessa and her mom.  they were going to cocal to look for a house.
